This is always a bad idea as it is extremely resource intensive.

The reason UVMaster is freezing ZB is because most likely you are trying to unwrap a high-poly mesh. However, is you are not going to use the bridge and are exporting manually then there are a few things to bear in mind: You don’t need UVs as polypaint data is stored in vertex colour as opposed to UV space. The polypaint data/ZB material is automatically transferred to KS. How can I import a OBJ model to Keyshot and get my polypaint? I’ve seen people doing it on Youtube without any problem - they instantly had their polypaint on after exporting.Īny help will be immensely appreciated, thank you!Īs Daf suggested, using the bridge will eradicate these issues. Can someone please help me explain what am I doing wrong? I am really getting desperate, which is the reason why I started this topic. I also tried creating UV maps, texture maps… Exporting the texture, importing it to Keyshot (with ridiculous result of having the texture stamped over the model hundred of times) Heck, I tried so many things, but the result was always the same. So I tried UV master, which almost always freezes the whole program, so no solution there. I’ve been through countless amount of forum topics and I figured out I have no UV maps. However, after exporting OBJ and importing it to Keyshot, the polypaint and material information from my model is gone and there is just pure geometry with default Keyshot material. Problems started when I polypainted my finished model and I was about to export it to Keyshot so I can finish it up there. I did many tutorials online and I’ve been practising and sculpting ever since. I started learning 3D modeling few weeks ago and I totally fell in love with it.
